Ever heard of this little thing called TICA? Well, if you frequent a site named The X Bridge, you probably have heard the term used on numerous occasions; But if someone asked you what the TICA is would you be able to tell them about it?

Probably not right? Well, that’s where we step in.

The TICA acronym (Toonami Inner Circle Alliance) is the brainchild of Jeff Harris, owner, maintainer, and all around Toonami figure head since he started up probably the longest lasting Toonami site around in 1998. At the time it was known as CNX, but today you can see the site around by the name The X Bridge.

Back then the TICA was formed to create a strong Toonami fan base backbone, and align themselves to support Toonami and better the block they’d all come to love. Of course, this was all before my time as a Toonami website owner. ANX’s first incarnation over at homestead was created in the summer of 2000.

Time passed and 80% of Toonami sites fell off the internet. Some lost faith in the block, others moved on to bigger and better things, however a small cluster of sites remain, and a few new sites emerged from all the closed sites. That brings us to today, where the TICA, a small cluster of Toonami sites keep the tradition alive and try and maintain faith and better-ness of this experiment called ‘The Revolution’.

While not 'in' the circle per say, Animation Insider, Anime Adrenaline, The World's Finest, Toon Radio, Japan Hero, and Toon Zone deserve to be listed as major supporters in the alliance and in the revolution.
