The Powerpuff Girls
Sugar, spice, everything nice, and a dash of chemical X is all you need to make a bunch of kick-ass super heroines!
The Powerpuff Girls is an action packed show about three little super-heroines accidentally made from sugar, spice, everything nice, and of course, chemical X. They have dedicated their lives to fighting crime and evil, and are constantly saving the city in which they live Townsville, from monsters and certain doom. These girls may be super strong, have the ability to fly, heat vision, and more, but they are still just little girls, they learn from their mistakes, they go to school, and they have feelings. These things are put into play during the show and along with some incredible action sequences, it makes for an unbelievable plot.
Townsville is full of bad people, ones who become formable foes for our girls. There's the Gang Green Gang, Fuzzy Lumpkins, Mojo Jojo, Sedusa, the Ameba Boys, and lets not forget...Him, and much much more! Whenever danger ensues, the girls find themselves being buzzed over their own personal hotline by the absent-minded mayor, to save the day.
The Powerpuff Girls has been on Toonami many times, as filler for episodes that are longer then 30 min. It also had a spot on the Rising sun, as well as the weekday block for a little while. A lot of people feel that the show doesn't belong on Toonami, while some people feel that it brings a much needed feminine touch to the block that hasn't been there since Sailor Moon left.
