The year is now After Colony 196. The peace between the Earth and the Colonies achieved by the struggles of the Gundam pilots is about to be shattered once more. Marimeia Khushrenada, daughter of the late Treize Khushrenada. Backed by the might of the Barton Foundation and allied with the Gundam pilot Wu-fei, Marimeia seeks to claim her father’s position as dictator of the Earth. Divided, the Gundam pilots must now battle each other to stop the escalating war before it destroys both the Earth and the Colonies.
Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz made its Toonami premier on Friday, November 10th, 2000 at 5pm. Like the series that spawned it, this OVA conclusion the Gundam Wing was well received among the fans, and was rerun multiple times.

- Endless Waltz was released in two editions: an episodic version in which the three parts of the OVA are viewed as separate episodes, and a movie edition in which the existing episodes are combined into a single movie with a few minutes of additional footage not found in the individual episodes.
- The Endless Waltz movie that aired on Toonami was actually the episodic edition of the OVA with the individual episodes spliced together and the title cards removed.
