- The episode "Unmasked" was originally scheduled to air on Kids' WB! on Sept. 14, but was pulled after the terrorist attacks on the USA of 11 September 2001. It later premiered on the Cartoon Network.

- After the Columbine tragedy, WB ordered the film be toned down. Most of the changes were minor, removing impacts during fights and various other edits of the nature. A scene involving Joker and Robin however, was not as lucky. A majority of the scene had to be reanimated because of the nature of it's events and darkness of its presentation. The film was released as a PG direct-to-video feature. A PG-13 Director's cut would later be released and is still available today with all the film's original scenes.
