Blood+
Saya Otonashi is an anemic but otherwise normal schoolgirl, living a happy life with her family. Happy except for the fact that she also suffers from amnesia and can only remember the last year of her life. However, her peaceful existence is soon shattered when she is attacked by a Chiroptera, shape shifters who feed on human blood. Sword in hand, Saya sets out to rid the world of the Chiroptera menace, and discover her own destiny.
Based on the movie, "Blood: The Last Vampire," on March 10, 2007, Blood+ joined the Adult Swim Saturday lineup at 11:30 pm, replacing another vampire based anime series, Trinity Blood.
